We are a boutique webshop with Scandinavian inspired design products. We only sell products we know, we have tried and that we ourselves love. We work directly with the brands we represent, the designers and manufacturers to ensure that all our products are originals, no fakes and no copies.

D.tales and www.design-tales.com is the trading name for Kollektion General Trading LLC. We trade and operate under company license registration number 552294 from Dubai Municipality, and our membership of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industries registration is 83519. All our manufacturers provide decent warranties on their products, something which is very important to us. Typically there is at least a six months warranty on manufacturing defects, subject to normal usage. For many items the warranty is one year. Most products we sell will have a warranty explanation written on a note or on the packaging, explaining the terms of the individual product or brand. We deliver to all GCC countries: Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Upon your request, we can normally arrange shipping to any other country in the world. As we are based in the United Arab Emirates; any shipment to any other country will most likely incur import taxes or other local duties, which are beyond our control. Whilst we offer all-inclusive prices for the UAE, for other countries such as Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the courier company will ask you to pay local charges and import duties upon delivery.

We use a number of different courir companies as we always try to stay competitive and therefore always use the courir company offering the best deal. Among the courir companies we use, you will see TNT, Aramex, UPS and FedEx. 

Some of the products we sell are designed for outdoor use, however, most of these are tested for European or even Scandinavian standards and specifications, which includes the European outdoor weather conditions. The Middle East of course has a much more harsh climate with extreme sun, heat, dust, sand and humidity and it is therefore impossible to guarantee that items will not discolor or deteriorate over time. With reasonable care and attention, such as covering your items and furniture with UV protective covers when not in use, store them in a dry and protected place, will help ensure the products will last longer with limited damage. Our products are not about the price. We would like to think that the products we offer are well worth the money you spend on them. On top of that, we will always try to offer the highest level of service and delivery, backed up with excellent customer and after sales service, a unique and often overlooked part of businesses in the Middle East. Sure, you can sometimes find our products at a better rate somewhere else in the world, but when comparing prices do not overlook the add-ons that are often not immediately visible on internet sites, such as shipment and packaging charges, taxes and service charges etc. Our price is always all-inclusive and what you are quoted is what you pay.
